Mark your calendars for our first fundraiser of the year! Students can raise money to put in their accounts for our 2019 NYC Trip.
Congratulations to the entire cast, crew and pit orchestra of The Wedding Singer! Thank you for your tremendous work on this production and for making our weekend of performances phenomenal!
There are certain apparel items that we expect members of the performing arts department to wear throughout the year, including concert attire. In the past we’ve asked parents to pay for these items over the course of the year, but in an attempt to make things easier we are setting a one time student activity fee for the music department that will cover all apparel and alterations. Students will only be expected to pay this fee when they enter the department as a freshman or new student and will be able to exchange rental items as they grow.
The fee of $100 includes the following:
- Concert attire rental
- Music Department t-shirt
- Alterations for concert attire
If students are in multiple ensembles in the music department, they are only expected to pay one fee. In order for all students to look uniform, we ask that you rent concert attire through the music department instead of purchasing it on your own.
Payment is due September 30th. Checks should be made out to “BHS Music”. A payment plan option is available; please email Ms. Evans or Mrs. Jaques if you would like to discuss this option.
Audition material can be found by following the links below to the NHMEA website:

Band camp will be Tuesday, August 22 and Wednesday, August 23 from 9am-noon in the BHS band room. All students in the BMS 7th & 8th grade band and the BHS band (grades 9-12) are expected to attend band camp.
Check out the "Band Camp" page under "Ensembles" for all the information you need about band camp and email Mrs Jaques at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions. The "Band Camp" page is password protected and you should have received an email with the password in it. Let Mrs Jaques know if you need the password.
We're looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks!
Congratulations to the cast and crew of "Tarzan"!
Congratulations to Mr. Davis for being recognized as the 2017 NHBDA Young Band Director of the Year! Everyone in Bow knows what an incredible teacher he is so we are thrilled others in the state know it now too!
