Student Activity Fee for New Students
There are certain apparel items that we expect members of the performing arts department to wear throughout the year, including concert attire. In the past we’ve asked parents to pay for these items over the course of the year, but in an attempt to make things easier we are setting a one time student activity fee for the music department that will cover all apparel and alterations. Students will only be expected to pay this fee when they enter the department as a freshman or new student and will be able to exchange rental items as they grow.
The fee of $100 includes the following:
- Concert attire rental
- Music Department t-shirt
- Alterations for concert attire
If students are in multiple ensembles in the music department, they are only expected to pay one fee. In order for all students to look uniform, we ask that you rent concert attire through the music department instead of purchasing it on your own.
Payment is due September 30th. Checks should be made out to “BHS Music”. A payment plan option is available; please email Ms. Evans or Mrs. Jaques if you would like to discuss this option.
